The SR-3600 unit has all the features in Stardom-2600 plus it can be used as an external Firewire and USB data storage unit with UDMA/133 drives providing fault-tolerance RAID1 mirroring or striping high performance RAID0 technology.
It uses standard Firewire1394b and USB connectors to connect to any host system with the relevant adapter. It is completely host and OS independent and the host PC can see it only as an external drive. It also can be used as a stand-alone external hard drive duplicator. You can connect additional SR-3600 unit for as many your host adapter can accept.
The Remote RAID Management & Monitoring Software will allow you to receive email message in case of drive failure, thermal issue and fan failure. The software also allows monitoring of the unit's activities over the local IP based network, or over the Internet from anywhere in the world.
