High Performance:
 | SyneRAID-800B uses high performance Intel
i80303 64bit RISC processor and its intelligent cache system supports up to 256Mbytes DRAM
for data caching, to simultaneously distribute multiple requests from the host computer to
connected IDE hard drives to perform high speed parallel data transfer. |
| To increase the data transfer, SyneRAID-800B implements the " Single drive per independent channel " architecture to provide high sufficient data throughput per channel and eliminates disk multitasking overhead. |
High Availability:
| Advanced algorithm to provide RAID level
0,1,3, 5 or 0+1, so that you can benefit from, either the performance and availability of
RAID 0+1, or the capacity and economy of RAID 5. |
| Providing duplex and redundancy
power/cooling fan systems which can tolerate a mains failure without interrupting

| Hot swapping of disk drives, cooling fans
and Power supplies allows for easy swapping of faulty parts without loss of service from
RAID and systems down time. |
| IDE disks in a single disk per channel
configuration lower the risk of failure. |
| Hot spare function for disk drives allows
the replacement of bad drive when any error occurs on any of the drives. The on-line
hot-spare disk drive will automatically take over for the failed disk drive leaving you
with hand free support. |
| Automatic drive failure detection with
drive online drive rebuild enables you to replace the hard drive without having any
operations or commands. It transfers data into the replaced hard drives automatically. |
| Operating Systems independence feature can offer access to data storage with different OS platforms such as; Windows Me//98, Windows 2000, Widows NT, NOVELL, UNIX, Linux, Solaris or Macintosh are compatible and transparence. |
User Friendly:
SyneRAID-800B provides extremely user-friendly configuration method. Users can initiate a RAID as RAID level 5 by only 5 steps via " Quick setup". It can be configured through following ways:
