With a cost-effective SATA approach, the SR-2611-SA/SR-2600-2S-S1 mirrors data to two SATA drives simultaneously, and delivers optimized performance compared to costly SCSI solution. If one drive fails the second drive immediately and automatically takes over and system will continue the operation transparently.

In case of drive failure, high temperature in the unit and on the drives or fan failure, the alarm ( internal buzzer) will sound and an email is sent by the GUI RAID Management Software to inform you about the nature of failure (drive, fan or temperature).

Featuring intelligent on-line recovery, the SR-2611-SA/SR-2600-2S-S1 provides complete protection for system data. You can hot swap a failed drive without any interruption and the unit will rebuild the data automatically to the new drive without any data loss.

SR-2611-SA/SR-2600-2S-S1 is a standalone HDD duplicator and can work without connecting to the PCI Card or SATA port. It can duplicate source hard disk into the target drive independently by only connecting a 4-pin power cord.

SR-2611-SA/SR-2600-2S-S1 saves daily backup time and it can save all the files into dual independent hard disks.  Users don't need to make daily backup routines.  Just replace a drive and the duplication starts automatically without any system shut-down.

* Important Note*
In order to use the Stardom-2611 SATA reliably with your existing SATA port on your mainboard, you need to make sure that the onboard SATA port offers NON-RAID or Single Disk configurations and can act as a simple SATA controller.  Please remember RAID0, JBOD are not the same as Non-RAID and Single Disk. Please check this matter with your motherboard manufacturer BIOS.
