Supporting Real-Time Remote
Replication of important data, SyneNAS™-5100 enables important
corporate data to be preserved in a more reliable fashion so that the critical data is not
lost under disaster situations.
When remote and local file directories are
setup correctly, synchronization of specific directories will be duplicated at the remote
location in Real-Time. The remote replication is optimized so
that duplication only includes the incremental and the differences in file updates at any
time. When files in the local directory are deleted, the files at the remote directory
will also be deleted accordingly.
