INTRODUCTION:

The SyneSCA-U4LP 64bit PCI U4WSCSI/LVD/320MBs host adapter brings true Ultra320 SCSI performance to storage environments such as internal or external RAID subsystems, as well as rackmounts and high performance workstations and servers.

With 320MBs speed and up to 50,000 I/Os per second, this adapter is ideal for transferring high speed and high capacity data blocks.

With It's PCI-X (64bit) BUS throughput of 1064 MBps, this adapter also capitalizes on maximum system performance for the systems needing high I/O benchmark while it is backward compatible with existing PCI systems.

Optional integrated mirroring (for SyneSCA-U4LPM only), which provides physical mirroring of the boot volume through the firmware. This feature provides extra reliability for the system’s boot volume without burdening the host CPU. The runtime mirroring of the boot drive is transparent to the BIOS, drivers, and operating system.
