INTRODUCTION:

The SyneFCA-2GLC Fibre Channel Host Adapters combines the high speed optical, low overhead channel connections with longer distance and cabling flexibility for networking.  It maintains compatibility with existing communication standards and meet the needs of ever-increasing demand for higher I/O performance and bandwidth in many applications.

The SyneFCA-2GLC is designed for SAN based RAID subsystems, high power servers and advanced multimedia and digital editing workstations. It supports Arbitrated Loop for SAN (Storage Area Networks), Fabric for Server Clustering and POP (Point-to-Point) for individual and DAS (direct Attached Storage) use.
