INTRODUCTION:

The SyneFCA-2GHC Fibre Channel Host Adapters combine the high speed, low overhead channel connections with longer distance and cabling flexibility for networking. They maintain compatibility with existing communication standards and meet the needs of ever-increasing demand for higher I/O performance and bandwidth in many applications.

The SyneFCA-2GHC are designed for SAN based RAID subsystems, high power servers and advanced multimedia and digital editing workstations. They supports Arbitrated Loop for SAN (Storage Area Networks), Fabric for Server Clustering and POP (Point-to-Point) for individual and DAS (direct Attached Storage) use.
